The Get Lit fellowship is an exciting, power packed 9 week series experience, plus a celebration week, that provides a safe environment for people to explore their relationship with God. It’s valuable for those people who feel they already know God as well as those who are just exploring the question if there is a God or who God is. For those who already feel they know God, it helps them to have a deeper and more meaningful relationship. For those exploring, it is a safe environment to ask questions and to weigh out what you believe.
Whenever we do a Get Lit fellowship, there are stories of participants hearing from God in ways they never have before. Miracles are a common occurrence during these fellowships. At the very least people leave feeling better about themselves and their relationship with God. Come in with an open heart and big expectations and you won’t be disappointed!
This series is made up of logical compelling teachings from the bible as well as testimonials. The teachings are in depth, but respectful of others faith systems. The material is presented in a way that honors people making their own choices and allows people the freedom to question things.
Just a few of the questions that will be addressed during the series:
What’s my purpose?
How can I get my prayers answered?
What is the cause of sickness, death & evil?
How can we know if God is real?
How does science fit with the bible?
Is the bible full of myths & contradictions?
Why Jesus?
A highlight of Get Lit is our very special time connecting with each other in the fellowships. These are extremely rewarding times for the participants to connect in a deeper way to one another. Typically those attending say the fellowships have been incredibly meaningful and helped them to make new friends and open up to God in ways they never have before. During the fellowship time people are given the opportunity to share whatever they feel comfortable discussing about their experiences, feelings and thoughts about God. One of the things that make the environment safe to dialogue about those things is that everyone is respected for their points of view and experiences. People often say it’s the first time they ever had the chance to discuss those topics in such a supportive and accepting environment.
So we ask that you prayerfully consider your schedule and make arrangements ahead of time in order to not miss any fellowship times. Due to the level of content and the fellowship intimacy this series requires you attend all 9 sessions. No absences are permitted. There will be designated make up times in case of emergencies only. Make up designated time and place is to be determined by you and your host.
Locations: South Bay, San Francisco, Concord, Fremont, Vallejo, Benicia, Morgan Hill, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Olympia WA, and fellowships are both ONLINE via Zoom and IN PERSON and many hybrids!
