MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS 2023
II Corinthians 12:9
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Have you ever felt like you need to hide areas in your life where you have flaws and weaknesses? YOU’RE NOT ALONE! There’s so much pressure from the world around us to try to appear strong, yet deep inside feeling embarrassed for feelings of hurt or insecurities or feeling embarrassed about failures in our jobs or relationships.
EVERYONE has felt this in some way, but NOT everyone is sure that they would be loved in their weakness. Culture today says “Don’t let people see your weakness”. BUT with God’s LOVE and GRACE, there’s NO SHAME in being weak BECAUSE God’s STRENGTH is MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS! What!?! It’s TRUE! So, the more we bring all of who we are into God’s marvelous light it will make us stronger and give us even more courage and FREEDOM to be our unique, loveable, technicolor selves!
